Candles On The Cake

So I had a birthday….As a woman it can sometimes be hard the higher the number in birthdays you climb. It’s like weight…you sort of would rather not see the number on the scale or…on the cake. But actually when you think about it, replace the words “as a woman” with “as a woman of God” and it sure does change the perspective….

We are a year older in Christ.

We have completed another year of serving Him.

We have gotten to experience God’s love for another year.

We have experienced His grace yet another year.

Now that number on top of the cake that we sort of cringe at…becomes a pretty awesome crown as we claim our title another year as a daughter of the King!

So…remember that as your number grows higher, treasure it! And look forward to yet another year of serving the Lord! And get excited for the plans He has in store for you! Go ahead….close your eyes and blow out your candles!
